Summer ball summary
Summer Ball, Mike Lupica, Realistic/Sports Fiction.
Being the smallest kid at camp isn't easy. When Danny Walker and a few of his friends decide to sign up for one of the top basketball camps in the nation things don't really turn out as they seem. There are many problems that happen to Danny starting from the first day of camp, when they mess up what cabin he is going to stay in. The problems keep escalating for Danny and being the smallest kid at camp doesn't help at all. When Danny faces the point where he wants to go home, his old and some new friends help him out and encourage him to stay. That choice would eventually change his life. With the start of the regular season at camp, Danny's team, the Celtics, isn't quite where they want to be, but once the playoffs start the game is on. They make a run in the playoffs, but before the championship is theirs they have to go through the best player at camp and also the camp bully, Lamar Parish. Danny and his team need to play their best if they want the trophy.
